Description
Woodswallow Its finished! My first ACEO! 
It's a mix of colored pencils, gouache, pen, and pencil, the red tones of the bird a bit more vibrant in real life, but I didn't want to over-edit it and make it look different. Hope you like it!
P.S it does look less grainy and messy in real life since it's only a few inches tall and a couple inches wide.

I saw it in my inbox and thought "...could this be for me???" and wow - it IS! I'm overwhelmed. It is so incredibly beautiful, the mixed media make it seem so alive. Oh my gaawd, I'm so unspeakable happy
I know that you're good but somehow I didn't expect your first ACEO to be THAT awesome! I had to get used to that tiny space at first and this here looks as if you pulled it off very easily. I simply love that feather structure here, you definitely learned a lot! Especially the tiny feathers in the face and directly around the head, they make it seem so alive. The contrast between the red and the green of the background is great to look at and I love how you did the beard...and the eye! The eye is fantastic, I adore the stare and that red sclera.
Oh wow Dusty, this is truly mindblowing and I'm unspeakably excited about this amazing trade!!
